Discover the art of stained glass in a fun and welcoming environment! In this 5-week class, you’ll learn how to create your very own 11" x 17" stained glass panel, choosing from over 60 unique patterns — more options than any other local studio offers.

Throughout the course, you’ll master essential techniques, including:

• Glass cutting

• Grinding

• Foiling

• Soldering

• Finishing your panel

All necessary tools are provided during class, with the option to purchase your own if desired. While materials are not included, the cost is spread out over the sessions, averaging $25–$50 per week depending on your project.

Leaded Stained Glass Panel Class
Instruction Fee: $100.00 

Take your stained glass skills to the next level by learning the traditional lead came method. In this class, you’ll create a stunning 20" x 20" panel using one of four patterns specifically designed for leaded glass construction.

This course is ideal for students with some prior glass cutting experience.

You’ll learn how to:

Select and draw your pattern

Accurately cut your glass pieces

Build your panel with lead came

Solder all joints securely

Apply putty and clean the finished panel

We’ll walk you through each step of the process so you leave with the skills and confidence to complete leaded glass panels on your own.

All tools and materials are available for purchase if you’d like to build your own toolkit.

Stained Glass Making Workshop – 14×14 Panel

During this 4-hour session, students will learn the essential stained glass techniques needed to complete a project from start to finish, including:

   • Copper foiling

    •Soldering

    •Finishing and completing a stained glass panel

You’ll gain real hands-on experience while working at a comfortable pace with instructor guidance throughout the class.  To ensure everyone completes a finished panel within the session, glass cutting is not part of this class. All pieces are professionally pre-cut and ready to assemble. 

Each student will complete and take home a 14×14 stained glass panel. As part of the design, you’ll get to choose two glass colors of your own from a curated selection, paired with bevels already incorporated into the pattern—giving every piece a personal touch while ensuring success.

This workshop is well-suited for group outings, shared experiences with friends or family, and travelers seeking a meaningful hands-on class that can be completed in one day.

A required stained glass supply kit is purchased separately at the studio and costs approximately $85.

The kit includes everything needed to complete your project, including:

Pre-cut glass pieces

Bevels

Foil

Solder

Pattern and project materials
